Kokkari - Best Greek - Downtown

This place serves up some fierce food. Seriously. We've wandered all over Greece and the folks at K meld traditional Greek fare with a cool, sophisticated Cali feel that competes with some of the best in Greece...and the hot hostesses (as of the date of this post) don't hurt the appeal either;)

Seems like Kokkari is as hot now as when it opened quite a few years back - lunch, dinner, late night you name it the place packs 'em in, but usually treats everyone like they're the only table in the place. Great crowd, great food. The lamb chops are awesome, the spanikopita rocks, make sure you order the pita/hummus plate. Great Dolmathes , Mousaka, mmm mmm. Hey even go out on a limb and try the (Greek) Salad.

We like to sit at the bar for the action, but table service is great too. Solid wine list too. Go there late and you might even run into Gavin.
