Zona Rosa - Midtown

Well, we've stumbled outta this place with big smiles pasted on our faces more than once. Especially since it's across the street from Chambers Hotel on 56th between 5th ad 6th,

Since it's in midtown, not in a "neighborhood" it usually isn't super-crowded at night and you can usually get right in. Great margaritas, awesome, authentic chips and salsa, super-friendly staff and fast service. And a creative, but not-too-funky menu. A great black bean soup plus dishes like roast suckling pig and tortillas, pumpkin seed crusted mahi-mahi and short rib tacos. It's "high brow" mexican food.
