We love this place, we hate this place. We'll tell ya why.
Love - In the mood for comfort food? This place is great! In the mood for great fresh salads, sandwiches, even a brunch? GREAT! Want some sun (cuz it actually appears in south beach), sit on the pretty big (by SF standards) patio. Turn on a heater even. Great wines, good drinks, it will keep you coming back. Great for lunch. Specifically try the chicken spring rolls, the bbq baby back ribs, mac & cheese (gotta add the black forest ham), the chicken salad with cambazola cheese crostini, the buffalo chicken sandwich, and the french onion soup. We love it all. They have a great M-F Happy Hour too, 4-7PM. Good cheap bar snacks - quesadilla, chicken-peanut egg rolls, pizza and more for something like $4 a pop. Put that extra $ you saved right into extra drinks and better tips!
We also love the bartender Kenny. Pauly (just promoted to Bar Manager, woo hoo!) is super-cool too. Catch him in break-dance mode and you're in for a wild time. You'll also be well taken care of if Mark, Lori, Darin, Gill, are workin' the bar.
Hate - Only go in there during ball games if you're the "dude" that screams and makes big muscle movement with his arms ala Hanz and Franz from SNL when the team does well...or, the chick (or dude) who digs guys like that. It can get overrun with drunky people that fall all over the place. Hey maybe you're into that. Sometimes we are too. That's whatcha get when you're one of the most happenin' spots right next to the ball park (especially when the Dodgers are in town;) The bar is way too small for the size of the place and the service at the tables has been a bit sub par for us, therefore we stick to eating in the bar.
Right next to Pac Bell, SBC, ATT Park or whatever they decide to call where the Giants play baseball in South Beach. There is valet btw.
